Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The present work seeks to analyze the process of artistic projects I developed related to territory and communities in the light of anthropological perspectives and socially engaged art. Through an analysis of personal artistic practices, as well as theoretical and empirical research on different authors and artists, this research seeks to understand the implication of art in different spheres of life, finding that it expands beyond what is recognized in the institutional circuits of "the arts". It also raises questions about the mechanisms arising from artistic making and the conditions for its realization, proposing that these conditions may result in learnings for an increase in transdisciplinary dialogues. By privileging the work of art more as a process than as a material result, the work reflects on its realization as a collective and cyclical act, on the artist as a "designer of cultures", and on artistic making in a perspective of participatory sharing and utopian construction. The work proposes the collaboration of artistic practices with the different spheres of knowledge as a response strategy to the current global crisis, recognizing the role of art as an agent of sustainability and transformation of the individual and of reality.
