Environmental suitability of selected bamboo species in the Iberian Peninsula

Ver documento

Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:In the present report, for a set of selected bamboo species, we studied the environmental conditions in the native regions of each species, as well as in non-native regions (where the species has been introduced, and most probably cultivated). Subsequently, we mapped the respective environmental suitability in the Iberian Peninsula, using a geometric approach to model the species niche. We believe that the present report is a relevant management tool for bamboo cultivation in the Iberian Peninsula.
