Análise da fundamentação agronómica dos provérbios agrícolas portugueses
| Resumo: | Proverbs have the ability to transmit empirical knowledge in a simple and multigenerational manner, and resorting to its use, we also provide tribute to our forefathers for having perpetuated the popular wisdom through the ages. We mentioned many proverbs in our daily lives, such as: “Who sows the wind, reaps the whirlwind.”, “Until the washing of baskets is vintage.”, “Before a bird in his hand than two flying.”, among others. From the diversity of proverbs in the Portuguese Culture, this dissertation seeks to analyze the agronomic fundamentals of proverbs related to agricultural activity, through a sample focused on the theme of rural life and agriculture, as well on the accumulated cultural wealth by the time. It is intended that this document become a useful tool, for all those interested and involved in the agricultural sector, and wishing to explore the Portuguese Agricultural Proverbs, either by curiosity, or with intent to obtain any benefit for agricultural practice, through Proverbial knowledge.
