Co-working and companies
| Resumo: | This internship report aims to describe the work and activities developed under the internship done at Mercer. Flexibility in the work is nowadays something that the employees see as normal, in opposition to the big benefit that flexibility was before Covid 19. We can dive into flexible work and flexible time; in this report, the flexible work will have more relevance since the main discussion will be the possibility of new places of work. One of the main considerations is regarding how to maintain the work with high productivity, in the perfect balance, between the social component in the office and the remote work. The main topics covered by the report are (1) the main challenge for companies and employees, (2) the role of Co-Working places in terms of innovation, (3) Coworking as opposed to learning centre, (4) Coworking Places as places of interaction, (5) security of data (6) the future of “work anywhere, everywhere”. This project aims at providing solutions for the challenges Mercer and many other companies have in creating the best possible way of working for the best workers in order to attract and retain intelectual capital.Since the fixed cost in a company is always, something that is necessary to take a good analysis, the interviews with the director of human resources of Mercer tried to analyse the best solution for the main parts. The conclusions can be dived into three main topics; (1) the benefits and recognition that the employees identify in having a third-place of work, (2) the necessity of security of the data that was needed during the working period (3) the impossibility of creating something huge at the beginning of the project with with preference for a pilot development |
