Reabilitação da Casa e Quinta de Vale de Flores
| Resumo: | It is notorious the importance that is currently given to rehabilitation interventions, especially when we focus on cultural heritage. The integrity and authenticity of these buildings are increasingly being protected. This thesis aims to understand how cultural heritage can be integrated into the community’s daily life, knowing that it will have to provide answers to the problems of today’s society. One of the problems that currently stands out in society is associate to the environmental crisis we are going through, and taking this into consideration one of the main objectives of this thesis is to establish strategies to reduce the environmental and energy impact of those buildings. The main objective will be the idealization of an Interpretation Center, open to the public, where the historical importance of the Quinta de Vale de Flores will be demonstrated, as well as its importance as a productive farm. |
