Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:The objective of the present work project is to provide an intimate view of all the issues surrounding painting and its practice. Through personal accounts about the motivation for doing painting, the techniques used, the selection and research of references, and the act of painting itself, it seeks to enhance the understanding and thinking that underlies the creative process. The entire text was written in a continuous manner, without the existence of a predetermined index, with the intention of presenting a writing that resembles painting not only in terms of thought but also in its form. In other words, the writing occurred simultaneously with the act of painting. Therefore, the structure of the chapter was organized based on Herberto Helder’s short story O Quarto (The Room). Each one of them represents a room in the house described in the narrative of the story, only the first of them is about the choice of the place from which to build it. Finally, it was decided to present written fragments from a physical journal kept in the studio during the development of this work project and an appendix with drawings from a notebook created during the same period, almost like a journal of images
