Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This work presents an analysis of the presence of the female artist in Portuguese society, as well as in the works, conquests and influences and affluences of the postmodern world. To this end, an analysis was made of the existence of women artists in two aspects - Theater and Cinema - through philosophical theories of memory processes in the history of Portuguese art, introducing a historical, cultural and social context. For the purpose of understanding and problematizing the theme, the artistic areas of painting, sculpture and literature were included. In the latter, we find a strong presence of feminist writers and activists, who made possible the understanding of feminism in art as well as in life, while reforming the idea that for an understanding of the presence of women in art it is necessary to understand the history of the condition of women in the times that anticipated the suffragist movements. The concepts explored are put into practice through the film Diary of a character, where a fictionalized idea of these feminist historical processes is found, based on documentary cinema. To this end, interviews were conducted with painters, actresses and cultural producers, in order to better understand the artistic panorama felt in the 21st century
