Detalhes bibliográficos
Resumo:This paper examines the impact of the ES score on company’s performance during the COVID 19 pandemic in France, Germany, Italy and Spain, by employing a cross-sectional and differences-in-differences regression. The results show that during the first quarter of 2020, companies do not necessarily benefit from higher ES score. Therefore, results represent the reality of the ongoing debate regarding the ESG performance. Moreover, I demonstrate the differences in results across the countries.
