Correction to: Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Medicine https://doi.org/10.1007/s10856-019-6225-y In this article the figure 2, AFM images corresponding to SF/PVA and SF/GLY membranes with 10% synthetic polymer content and dried for 6 hours are identical and result from an accidental duplication during figure preparation due to its similarity. We have now corrected Figure 2 by replacing the duplicated image with the correct AFM image.
